Museum Hours

Tuesday-Sunday: 10am - 4pm

Last visitor pickup at the Visitor Center is 2:00pm (this allows visitors enough time to see the exhibits.)

During summer months the Aviation Museum will close when temperatures reach 100 degrees or higher. Please call 707-424-8180 prior to visitation.

Special Base Entry Requirements
Travis AFB is under enhanced security. If you have a DOD/Military ID card, drive to the main gate to enter, then proceed to the museum. Call the Visitor Control Center at 707-424-6732 if you have any questions about entry requirements.

If you do not possess a DOD ID card, you must stop at the Visitor's Center. If you have REAL ID, you will be processed and a shuttle will be called to take you to the museum (you may not drive yourself.)

If you do not have REAL ID, you will need a second form of ID - such as a US passport, SSN card, US birth certificate. You will be processed and shuttle will be called to take you to the museum (you may not drive yourself.)

Foreign Nationals (ie., non-US residents) wishing to visit the Aviation Museum, please email the address below at least 6 weeks prior to visit. Processing base pass requests can take 4-6 weeks :
